What is Maynard House?

Maynard House provides affordable lodging for patients receiving medical care and their families in the Upper Valley.

What is the Rest Easy Program?

The Rest Easy Program helps patients and families access affordable lodging during medical treatment. Maynard House participates in this program to support those in need.

How much does it cost to stay at Maynard House?

We ask for a contribution of $40 per person, per night to help keep stays affordable for families receiving medical care. However, we understand that everyone's circumstances are different, and we’re always happy to work with guests based on their ability to pay.

How many guest rooms does Maynard House have?

 

We have 8 guest rooms, each room has 2 twin sized beds.

What amenities are available to guests?

Guests have access to a full-sized kitchen equipped with a Keurig coffee maker, offering tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Free Wi-Fi, and a comfortable common area are also available.

Who can stay at Maynard House?

Maynard house is open to patients receiving treatment at any of the local medical facilities and their families or caregivers.

How do I book a stay?

All reservations to stay are made over the phone. If you need a reservation, just give us a call.

Is there a minimum or maximum length of stay?

Length of stay is usually determined by treatment schedules and needs.

Are smoking, alcohol, or drugs allowed?

No. Smoking, alcohol, illegal drugs, and weapons are prohibited on Maynard House property. 

Is the property monitored safely?

Yes. Security cameras monitor public interior and exterior areas for guest and staff safety. All of our doors are code locked, and we change the code every week.

Can staff enter guest rooms during a stay?

Staff may access rooms for cleaning, maintenance, or inspections if necessary.

What happens if a guest behaves disruptively?

Guests displaying disruptive or unsafe behavior may be asked to leave the property, to maintain a safe environment for all guests.

Does Maynard House accept liability for accidents or lost belongings?

Maynard house is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss/damage to personal property or vehicles while on site.

Are pets allowed at Maynard House?

Service animals are allowed. Guests with a service animal will be asked for their state registration number at check-in.

What health requirements must guests have?

Guests should not have had, or been exposed to, contagious illnesses like Flu or Covid-19 in the two weeks prior to arrival.

How is guest confidentiality handled?

Maynard House keeps guest information confidential and will only disclose your presence to authorized health or law enforcement personnel. 

What should I bring with me?

Bring personal items like toiletries, medications, and comfortable clothing and something to eat. We provide linens, and towels.

How will I be informed if access codes change during my stay?

If door codes or access methods change, staff will notify you directly via phone call or in- person.

Do I have to share a room?

No. Even though each room has two beds, we reserve by the room.

You can support us through donations, volunteering, or spreading awareness of our message.
